No excuses...

Well, it's been a while hasn't it? I've had a bad habit lately of getting on the computer with every intention of blogging, but then I end of up reading all my friend's blogs and by the time I do that, the window of time I had available to blog is over! Like I said, I don't really have an excuse...
So, most of you all know that I use my blog as Cohen's scrapbook. It's where I try to put pictures and stories that I don't want to forget 20 years from now. So, here are a few cute things Cohen has done over the past couple of weeks that I don't want to forget....
- The other day I was helping him learn to count, or at least I thought I was the one helping him... I was counting "1...2...3...4..." and then Cohen piped up and yelled, "5!" Hmmm... I guess he didn't need my help.
- I usually have another mom that takes Cohen back to our house when he gets out of preschool at 2:00, and then I get home around 5:00. The other day her kiddos were sick, so he stayed and "helped" mommy at work when he was done at preschool. He was out playing with all the toys in our receptionist area and after a long perioed of quietness, he walks in my office holding his butt and says, "i poopy". This was the first time it's bothered him that he went to the bathroom in his pants. He usually has no problem hanging out with a dirty diaper.
- One of the perks of working in the same building where Cohen goes to preschool is that I get to go to all his class parties, take pictures of him in his class with friends all the time, and stick my head in and watch him whenever I want. This week the fire truck came to visit. If you'll notice, he's one of the smallest kids in the class. I got him into the preschool earlier than he was supposed to because I wanted him to be with me at the church, so he is almost an entire year younger than most of the other kids in the class.

Cohen says, "bye bye" to the firetruck.

Scary fireman!!

That's all for now... I can't believe my baby will be 18 months tomorrow!

We are the Champions!!

We had a very FUN and exhausting weekend! On Saturday our church hosted a flag football tournament and our friends, Chris and Mindi, came in to stay with us for the weekend and play with us. I never remeber being this sore after our games in college, does that mean I'm out of shape? We played in 3 games and in the chamionship game we went into quadruple overtime...yeah, tell me about it! We were exhausted!! Here we are shortly after winning the tournament!

This picture shows how we really felt!

Here I am blocking... you do what you gotta do...

Here is Mindi running in a touchdown... I'm the cheerleader in the background.

Here's my studly hubby diving in for a touchdown!

Not sure what this face is, but it looks mean, right?

"Go Daddy, Go!!!"

You might ask how in the world the four of us played football all day with two 16 month olds running around. Thankfully Nana and Big T came to the tournament and helped us with the kids all day! Thank you Nana and Big T, we couldn't have made it through the day without you!

End of the day... mine and Mindi's hair might be just a little bit wind blown!

This is Cohen's favorite thing to do right now...shooting baskets on his basketball goal. At any one time there are about 50 balls in our backyard. Great Christmas gift Aunt Chandy!

Addison and Cohen learning how to share....

Too cool for school!

Thanks for coming Chris, Mindi, and Addison! We had so much fun!
