This is my favorite time of year. We get to have 6 different Christmas celebrations with all our family, then my birthday comes around a few days later, we always have a basketball tournament from the 27th through the 29th, and then we get to spend time with our friends on New Years. It's busy but I love being with everyone.
Cohen has been doing new things. This past weeks he has started sitting up a lot better and more consistently. He can sit on his own for a minute or so and then he gradually starts to lean and then topples to the side. He turns 4 months tomorrow so I decided to try cereal for the first time yesterday. It was supposed to be just an "experiment" because I didn't really think he would do that well the first time, but to my surprise he did great. He ate with the spoon just fine, the problem was keeping his hands out of his mouth. He would put his hands in his mouth right after each bite and then pull them out and rub the cereal all over his face. I'll have to get a picture of it soon and post it on my blog... it looked like a bomb of cereal went off on his face when we were done.
This is on my birthday night. My cousin Paige and uncle Neal kept Cohen while Chad and I went out with friends. Jaime and Julie made these cute cupcakes.
This is on Christmas morning. Santa left all these fun toys and clothes for Cohen. Pretty sure that didn't quite register with him...maybe next year!
This was on Christmas Eve. We read The Night Before Christmas before we put him to bed. He looked so cute in his Christmas Jammies. I could just eat him up!
We went to Edmond on Saturday and Sunday. It snowed. This was Cohen's first snow so we had to get a picture.
